Happy 4 Year Anniversary to ME!
I mentioned this in passing last week, but this month marks the 4 year anniversary of me teaching virtual classes at allysondykhuizen.com, and of Laura and I launching LauraAllyson.Party, our social network.
4 years ago I was FREAKING OUT, having just been fired from Knit 1 yarn store in Chicago and scrambling to figure it out! Today I’m sitting in Portugal SO excited to set up my office and continue to build my live and business here! What a wild 4 years!
One constant over those 4 years has been LauraAllyson.Party! We started it as a way to stay connected to our students and customers when we were removed from Knit 1, and now it’s the site I’m most excited to visit every morning, the “job” I’m really most excited to do and the one that feels the least like a job, and such a safe haven in the madness of the general social media landscape.
