We’ll be diving into both the Book Club Cardigan and the Book Club Pullover! Knit and fully customize these cozy cabled sweaters from Sari Nordlund with me! Building the sweater as we go, I’ll be helping you every step of the way to create a cozy cardigan and/or pullover sized to your exact specifications.
WHEN? Saturdays January 3, 10, 17, 31, February 14, March 14, 21 & 28, 11-12:30pm CT
We’ll learn:
Applying your gauge to the pattern for the perfect fit
Cable knitting! Reading cable charts and knitting cables both with a cable needle and without
Top down cardigan/pullover construction
Picking up stitches
Custom sleeve sizing
Afterthought pockets - cardigan
Double knit button band - cardigan
Customize length and shaping
Buttons and button holes - cardigan

Needles:
Depending on the yarn you’ll need US 6-9 needles - gauge/body needles and a needle 2 sizes smaller for ribbing
Notions:
Stitch markers
Waste yarn or extra cords for holding stitches
Optional: Cable needle!
Sizing & Yarn Requirements - Cardigan: PLEASE NOTE yardages seem light! Get more yarn!
Finished measurement at bust: 37.5 (41.25, 45.25, 49.25, 53.25) (57, 61, 65, 69) inches but who cares we’ll be customizing the fit of this exactly!
960 (1050, 1160, 1280, 1400) (1540, 1700, 1870, 2060) yards dk/worsted weight yarn, more if adding length/width or adjusting the gauge.

Notes About Allyson’s Classes!
Classes are taught live from Allyson’s NEW home studio in Porto, Porgutal!
Each class features 2 cameras - a hand camera so you can see close ups of every detailed demo, and a face camera for face to face interaction.
Classes are kept small so everyone gets the personal attention they need to succeed!
Each class will be recorded and sent out to everyone to make it easy for student’s to rewatch important moments, or if a student needs to miss a live class.
After each class has 10 students sign up to attend the live classes, a recording only option will open up at 60% of the cost of the class. If you sign up for the recordings only option you won’t have access to attend the live classes, but you will be sent the recordings every week and be able to email Allyson any questions you have along the way.
