Learn the ins and outs of raglan sweater designing, using your gauge and desired sweater sizing to create the perfect sweater!

WHEN?: Materials & Designing class on Monday, April 1st 6:30-7:30pm, Saturdays, May 4, 11, 18, 25 & June 1st - 1-2:30pm CST

We’ll learn:
Knit a gauge swatch in the round
Apply your gauge swatch measurements to the style to get your perfect fit in the body and sleeves
Top down raglan construction
Use a sizing spreadsheet to adjust your increases to get to your perfect body and sleeve sizing
Use a worksheet to redesign the sweater to get your perfect fit!
Get the perfect neckline fit by knitting it last

Sizing & Yarn Requirements: Because we’ll be designing this sweater from scratch, you can use any yarn size and needles to knit your sweater. We’ll talk more about this and yardage in the materials and design class on April 1st!

• WHEN: Materials & Designing class on Monday, April 1st 6:30-7:30pm, Saturdays, May 4, 11, 18, 25 & June 1st - 1-2:30pm CST - $130. Cost of class does not include the pattern or materials.

The Materials & Designing Class on April 1st will dig into thinking about your design and help you purchase yarn. Late to sign up? That class recording will be sent as part of your class welcome package.

Notes About Allyson’s Classes!

• Classes are taught live from Allyson’s home studio.

• Each class features 2 cameras - a hand camera so you can see close ups of every detailed demo, and a face camera for face to face interaction.

• Classes are kept small so everyone gets the personal attention they need to succeed!

• Each class will be recorded and sent out to everyone to make it easy for student’s to rewatch important moments, or if a student needs to miss a live class.

• After each class has 10 students sign up to attend the live classes, a recording only option will open up at 60% of the cost of the class. If you sign up for the recordings only option you won’t have access to attend the live classes, but you will be sent the recordings every week and be able to email Allyson any questions you have along the way.
