So! The organizers of Knitters Paradise Summit reached out and while usually I say no to everything because I don’t want to be bothered, their ask wasn’t a big one, and I used it as an opportunity to do something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, which is to update my Yoke Sizing Worksheet!

The Knitters Paradise Summit 2026 runs from October 5 to 9, and free registration is now open. Each session opens free for 48 hours, and Encore Weekend on October 11 and 12 reopens everything, so you can watch across the whole stretch from the 5th to the 12th. I’ll pop up periodically to remind you what’s going on with the summit, too!
I’m pretty excited to check out these classes as well, because it’s not patterns or classes about teaching a pattern - there are tons of fit classes in addition to mine! Why the sweater did not fit, why the socks bunch at the ankle, what the pattern is not telling you, and what to do about it.

Kim McBrien Evans on why you have been picking your sweater size from the wrong number entirely (familiar topic!)
