Almost Ready for Sleevetember!
I’ve been working hard on one of the most fun times of the year of at my social network LauraAllyson.Party - Sleevetember! It’s our 5th year running Sleevetember, a knit along dedicated to finishing up all the WIPs you abandoned over the summer before fall settles in, and it is really SO FUN!
On September 1st everyone registers by showing a picture of their WIP pile and sharing their goals - for instance, I want to knit 6 sleeves in Sleevetember!
2 sleeves for Titanic
2 sleeves for Pressed Flowers Cardigan
2 sleeves for Flock Pullover (by next week I hope to be in a place where this is to the body!)
I spend the day tallying up everyone’s registration pledges, and on Sept 2nd I share the first Goal Tracker! Over the years we’ve had between like 75-100 knitters complete around 300 sleeves. It’s amazing!
Throughout the month we help keep everyone on track by giving points days, come to knit night, post some progress, etc.
So even if you don’t have like 10 sleeves you are knitting in Sleevetember, you can get points and win prizes!
