🚢 Titanic Sweater Update!

Hey, it’s WIP day!

Every other Thursday I take a look at what my WIP pile looked like two weeks ago and what it looks like today!

Two weeks ago my Honey Petal was really looking like a sweater!

And, like I emailed on Tuesday, YEAH it turned out great!

Today my WIP pile is… my Titanic Sweater! This was my heat wave project last weekend so I basically worked on this for 4 straight days and made insane progress!

Those Roses were SO ANNOYING TO KNIT!! They had like 5 colors at some point! I was dying! But luckily I was trapped by it being 103 degrees outside so it really motivated me to power through.

I don’t want to be one of those fucking assholes who talks so much shit about social media and then spend a ton of time doing social media, but I don’t think I’m alone in observing that Instagram has become more and more of a No Fun Zone.

In an effort to both be the fun you want to see in the world and, like, get more followers, students, and money, I’ve committed to trying to make my Titanic Sweater A THING.

Not like a HUGE thing! But like a medium sized thing. A dress like your chicken sized thing, where I make people have a little laugh, think “wow she’s dumb in a fun way!”, and get more followers, who then get on my mailing list, who then take a class, etc etc. I think it’s called a funnel.

So! I made a reel! It’s got like 5K+ views as of my writing this so yay! Also META is evil and I hate it.

Here is a pic of the last time I tried it on! It’s really only super dumb if you think about it too much!

I’ll be working on my Titanic Sweater, Laura is making the Cabin Pullover from Amy Christoffers, and everyone else is going crazy and knitting whatever they want! It’s going to be great!

My Mosaic Sweater Knit Along kicks off this weekend, which means it is time to swatch! Look at this cutie!

I’m using De Rerum Natura Ulysse, a new favorite, for the flowers! and Rosários 4 Piopardo for the main color. I originally wanted it the other way around, but because the yarn store only had 5 Ulysse I switched, and I think it really worked out!

That KAL is full so I’m not even going to try to sell it to you! I’m just showing off my beautiful swatch!
