I’m Not Knitting!
Hey, it’s WIP day!
Every other Thursday I take a look at what my WIP pile looked like two weeks ago and what it looks like today!
Two weeks ago I was JUUUST finishing up my Nougat (missed the FO reveal?! It’s here!)
And…. I’ve taken a little break from knitting! My mystery hat KAL starts tomorrow, I haven’t settled on a Tee Me / Vest Fest project yet, so I’ve been doing other things!
I dusted off my Holiday House from Satsuma Street I put away back in December.
This is what it looked like the last time I worked on it back in December! MAN cross stitch takes forever!
I finished the Artemis + Fowl by Toad and Sew quilt top! I still need to, like, make it a quilt, but I’ll make my way back to it!
I’ve been doing a little sewing! I figured out how to get some large format patterns printed, so I printed off a couple new tops, including this Blythe Babydoll top by Sunday School Patterns. I REALLY thought about the stripe placement of this cute print!
I also got a good start on a new backpack! I’ll be headed to Rome at the end of June (🤞) and I wanted a more summery version of the Cooper Backpack from Seamwork I’ve made a few times!
I’m working on substituting the magnetic snaps for more travel friendly buckles. I’m excited about this one but I ran out of strapping so I need to run back up to the store to get more!
So! Knitting resumes soon but hey - distance makes the heart grow fonder, right?!
