Make Your Next Yoke Sweater Fit You Perfectly — Free Tomorrow!
The Knitters Paradise Summit starts tomorrow, and my class will be available free for 48 hours!
I’m teaching a session called Make Your Next Yoke Sweater Fit You Perfectly, where I’m going to show you the process I use to figure out how a yoke sweater should fit before I ever cast on.
If you’ve ever finished a yoke sweater and thought:
Why is this neckline so wide?
Why is the yoke sitting halfway down my arm?
Why are these sleeves so tight?
—you know that choosing a size based on bust circumference alone doesn’t work.
In my session, I’ll walk you through my new and improved Yoke Sweater Worksheet, which helps you make those decisions before you start knitting.
You’ll learn how to:
decide how you actually want your sweater to fit
use your own measurements to determine the dimensions you need
calculate stitch and round counts using your own gauge
figure out the yoke depth, neckline, and sleeve circumference you want
take all of those numbers and apply them to an actual sweater pattern
I’ll work through the process using Andrea Mowry’s Alpenglow, so you can see exactly how I take the information from a real pattern and make it work for the fit I want.
And everyone who watches my session will get my Yoke Sweater Worksheet so you can use the same process on your own sweaters. It’s kind of amazing if I do say so myself!
The summit is completely free, and each class is available to watch free for 48 hours after it goes live.

And don’t forget—the summit is much bigger than just my class! There are nearly 30 free knitting classes covering everything from sweater and sock fit to pattern reading, yarn, colorwork, brioche, designing your own projects, and more. Pick the classes that sound like your kind of thing, and spend the week learning something new (or finally figuring out that thing you've been struggling with!).
