New Polina Pullover Session Added!
Please note that I will be closing my Live Classes web store tomorrow, Friday January 30th, in solidarity with the call for a nationwide shutdown to protest the atrocities committed by ICE happening in my country.
The only way we can get through this is to believe that all of our small actions can add up to make real change. We are seeing that happening in the streets of Minneapolis and in countless other cities around the US. While I’m not there in body, this feels like a small way I can be there in solidarity.
I’m doing my best, and if you’re reading this I know you are doing your best, too. Whatever that looks like, not only tomorrow but for the duration of this nightmare, is enough. Don’t let feeling like you aren’t doing enough keep you from making a small step or gesture. It might feel small to you but it means a lot to the people around you! Be brave! It is starting to feel like it’s now or never.
By popular demand, I’ve added a second session of Polina Pullover! This is a Monday lunchtime class that I think is just a perfect excuse to block yourself off some time to start your week with some knitting!
New Session: Mondays March 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13 & 20th - 11-12:30 pm CT
We’ll learn:
In the round gauge
Top down yoke construction
Colorwork knitting! Both long float management & ladder back jaquard techniques
Customizing the neckline, body, and sleeve sizing
Picking up stitches
Two at a time sleeve knitting (optional!)
I’m cruising on my sample and just loving this knit. I can’t wait to bring it to you!
Please let me know if you have any questions, otherwise I hope to see you in Polina Pullover in March!
