Finished Rosie Sweater & Flannel Crush Cowl!
BIG DAY FRIENDS! I’ve got TWO FOs to show off!
First is my Rosie Sweater! I’m so in love with how this sweater turned out, from how my colors worked out together to my sleeve shaping, neckline, and body length modifications. I just love her!
I finished it Friday and haven’t taken it off honestly! It’s so cozy and warm, and beautiful! I just love how the main color is super me, but I went out of my normal color range with the soft pink roses. I couldn’t be happier!
Want one, too? I’m teaching this class again in March! The pattern is kind of a bear - my current students keep telling me how happy they are to be in the class haha! I’ll take it!
I also finished my Flannel Crush Cowl! I am hosting a KAL for this in LauraAllyson.Party, as part of our Mosaic Knitting KAL to start the year, and this was a really fun little knit! Think I’ll get a lot of wear out of this little cutie! I don’t have a bandana cowl right now and I forget what a great shape this is.
The best part?! I get to cast on something new! Tonight I’ll be cozied up on the coach casting on my Polina Pullover and I could not be more excited. Sometimes you just need to knit a fun yoke, you know?! I’ll have my start to show off for my WIP Thursday email, I’m sure!
I also wanted to share that Shane got his pathology report back with the best results possible - it was stage 1 cancer, with clean margins, so he is officially cancer free with that tumor removal! Thanks so much for all of your thoughts, prayers, hopes, well wishes & all of the above! It’s made it so much easier to get through this knowing so many people were keeping us in their thoughts. You can now officially go back to 100% worrying about climate change and the rise of fascism! Yay!
