Spotlight On: Design Your Own Fair Isle Sweater

I wanted to give a little focus to my upcoming Design Your Own Fair Isle Sweater class!

This is the class I will be teaching Wednesdays at lunch time US - 11-12:30pm CT. I thought it would be fun to dig into a big project like this at that time because it’s not every week - it’s spread out over 3 months. You wouldn’t have to commit to all those classes back to back if you were scheduling long lunches at work!

This is also a class that will benefit everyone to have more one on one time, so I’m keeping my registration cap smaller than normal so everyone can get more focused help in class.

We’ll be covering:

  • Designing and sourcing motifs

  • Picking your colors for maximum impact

  • Gauge, sizing, and style

  • Perfect body and sleeve circumference

  • Perfect V neck depth

  • Steeking two ways!

  • Picking up stitches

  • Shaping in colorwork

And SO much more!

Materials & Planning Class is TOMORROW!

Tomorrow is our first kind of bonus class where we’ll be talking about planning, motif gathering, and yarn options. Class registration won’t close! So students who register after tomorrow will get the recording emailed to them.

But if you’re interested in this class and want to get your planning started, be sure to sign up today so you can join us tomorrow! I cannot wait to see what you’ve got in mind!

And let’s take a quick look at the registration updates! We’re about a month away from classes starting - I held the materials classes this weekend and I’m SO excited to get back to teaching!!
